Hallo, I got this request via refugee tent action google group:

dear lists:

the comrades in the non-citizen protest tent (right now in schweinfurt) urgently need interpreters on the phone for:

*English Russian
*Russian Chechen
*English Albanian
*English Urdu
*English Arabic
*English Vietnamese (if there's a person who can do the interpretations for vietnamese, it is needed that she_he calls in the next half an hour (as soon as possible) in order to give a short explanation to the vietnamese speaking non-citizens what the meeting is about, etc.)

all languages are really important, as the non-citizen comrades visited around 20 lagers in the last 2 days and they expect many non-citizen to come to schweinfurt and join the non-citizens meeting today from 2pm till (max.) 5pm.

they would call you and you would take part of the non-citizen plenary as a interpreter on the phone: english is the base language and the phone will be held close to the english speaking person(s) then passed on
to the people who need the interpretations. they've been doing this already a couple of times and it works quite well!

please spread the call to your friends / lists / etc. ! we expect it to be a meeting with many non-citizens and it'd be great to make communication into the listed languages possible!!
